Well today has been the day for the boys...well David, to learn new things. As I said in my earlier blog I felt that the time has come to try to encourage the boys to stand up. There was no change over the last few days, David was willing to give it ago for a few seconds and Steve....well he just didn't see the point in it and drops straight to his bottom. However today we had a small breakthrough - David saw my laptop sitting on the sofa and decided that he wanted it, for the first time ever he grabbed hold of the sofa cushion and pulled himself up onto his knees. It might not seem like much but I felt a huge sense of pride.
Then this evening there was another new moment, one I'm not sure is a good thing. David realised that if he crawled onto his brother (Steve doesn't mind this at all by the way) he can reach the cupboard draw. Hmmmm I have a feeling that David might be the ringleader..........................................!
What stories do you have of your little ones first movements? Bet there's some funny stories out there :-)
