Sorry I've not posted for a little while I've been suffering from manflu and as any man will tell you it's no laughing matter ;-)
My obsession as to whether 'the boys are still breathing once they're tucked up in bed' began very early on when one night my husband took over the night feeds so that I could have a rest. He was up after seeing to them when I woke in a panic and in my half asleep state demanded to know if they were both breathing. My husband was very tired and even though he had just seen to them responded with "I don't know". Well apparently it did not go down well and he got a ticking off - not that I can really remember it - and had to double check that they were still breathing.
Once they were in their own room my worry worsened and hasn't changed, I find myself, often with my husband in tow, sneaking into their room a couple of times a night, where I wait until I can see two little bodies move up and down. Will this ever stop or will I still be sneaking into their room when they're 15 and obviously still breathing......................?
